NS Series 1100 Electric Locomotive (DC+Sound)

To protect personnel in the event of an accident, the 1100 series locomotives were retrofitted with stems similar to those of the 1700 series. The PIKO model has sharply engraved bogie panels with realistic spring pack replicas and faithful replicas of the buffer beams. The lighting is done by LEDs. The driver's cab and engine room lighting as well as the front and rear lights, which function depending on the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The heavy die-cast zinc frame and the motor with two large, precisely balanced flywheels ensure excellent driving characteristics and high tractive forces. A PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 with mfx capability is installed ex works, and the locomotive is also prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible loudspeaker.
